It's My Marriage Released by FosterParentCollege.com® to Strengthen the Marriages of Resource Parents

Eugene, OR — FosterParentCollege.com announced today the immediate availability of It's My Marriage, an online training course designed to strengthen the marriages of foster, kinship, and adoptive parents.

Resource parents face extraordinary challenges that can have a large impact on their marriage. Adjusting to these challenges is critical to maintaining a healthy marriage, protecting the family, and preserving the foster or adoptive placement.

It's My Marriage is a marital education program designed to help resource parents improve communication with each other, resolve conflicts in their relationship, build trust, and promote intimacy. It is based on PREP, one of the world's most comprehensive and respected divorce-prevention/marriage education curriculums, adapted specifically for the unique circumstance of resource parents.

An online, self-paced course, It's My Marriage fits conveniently within the schedules of busy parents. The 10-unit series hold parents' interest with a blend of person-on-the-street interviews, narrative instruction, and scenarios which model each of the skills. Additionally, viewers are provided with abundant opportunities to practice skills.

The creation of It's My Marriage was made possible through a Small Business Innovation Research Grant (#R44 MD005197) from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities to Northwest Media, Inc., the creator of It's My Marriage.
